How much does a bed frame cost in Singapore? For a Queen, expect about $240 to $520 for a simple platform or divan, $500 to $900 for a storage bed, and $500 to $1,300 for a solid wood frame. The price depends mostly on three things: the type of storage, the material and the size. Here’s what you get at each price, with real prices from our range.
The quick answer
- Under $400: platform and divan beds with a simple upholstered headboard. Good value, little or no storage.
- $400 to $700: drawer storage beds, entry hydraulic storage beds and Hevea, pine or oak wooden frames.
- $700 to $1,300: premium storage beds, solid American oak, leather, LED headboards and Japanese tatami beds.
Prices are for Queen size (152 × 190cm) in November 2026, unless noted. Prices change with promotions, so check each product page for the latest.

*UK Queen size (150 × 200cm). Japanese wooden beds like Aube ($499) and Cuenca with Headboard ($489) come in Japan sizes; those prices are for Double (JP), 140 × 195cm. Not sure which size you need? See our mattress size guide.
What drives the price
1. Storage. Storage is the biggest price jump. A platform bed has no moving parts. Drawers add runners and extra panels. A hydraulic lift-up base adds gas lifts and a stronger frame to carry the mattress, but gives you the most space. See our storage bed frame guide to compare them.
2. Material. Pine is light and affordable. Hevea wood (also called rubberwood) is a sustainable hardwood that takes paint well. Solid American oak is dense, very sturdy and costs the most. For upholstered beds, pet-friendly fabric, velvet and leather each add to the price.
3. Size. A Queen usually costs about $50 to $200 more than a Super Single of the same design, and a King another $100 or more on top.
4. Features. LED lighting, built-in power sockets, headboard shelves and taller statement headboards all add to the price.
5. Customisation. Many of our bed frames can be made to fit your room: a different size, upholstery or colour, legs, or a headboard cut to sit flush against wall skirting. Customisation is quoted before you order.
Is a more expensive bed frame worth it?
It depends on how long you’ll use it and how much storage you need.
- Spend less on a guest room, a rental or a child’s room that will change in a few years. A Yuni or Jimmy does the job well.
- Spend more on your main bedroom, especially in a smaller HDB or condo where every bit of storage counts. A hydraulic storage bed can replace a chest of drawers, and a solid oak frame can last for many years.
What to check at any price
- The base. Wooden slats let the mattress breathe, which matters in Singapore’s humidity. Solid bases suit storage beds; air your mattress more often.
- Mattress fit. Match the bed size to your mattress size exactly. Japan and UK sizes differ from Singapore sizes.
- Space around the bed. Leave room to open drawers at the side, or to walk around a lift-up bed when it’s open.
- Hydraulic lifts. Look for a safety lock that holds the base open, and check the lift warranty.
- Delivery and assembly. We deliver and assemble for free on orders above $300.

FAQ
How much does a Queen bed frame cost in Singapore?
About $240 to $520 for a platform or divan bed, $500 to $900 for a storage bed, and $500 to $1,300 for a solid wood frame. Leather, LED headboards and tatami designs sit at the top of the range.
Why are storage beds more expensive?
They need more parts and a stronger frame: drawers need runners and extra panels, and hydraulic lift-up beds need gas lifts that can hold the weight of the mattress. In return, you get a lot of extra storage.
Is a solid wood bed frame worth it?
For a main bedroom you’ll use for years, often yes. Solid oak is dense and sturdy, and wooden slats let your mattress breathe. For a guest room or a short-term home, a Hevea wood, pine or upholstered frame is better value.
Is it cheaper to buy a bed frame and mattress together?
Usually, yes. With our bundle codes, you get an extra 5% or 10% off when you buy a bed frame with a mattress and a bedding accessory, subject to a minimum spend.
Can I customise a bed frame to fit my room?
Many of our bed frames can be made in a different size, upholstery, colour or leg style, or with a headboard cut to fit around wall skirting. We quote the price before you order.
